Roberds Converting Installs New Sheeter
Source: Roberds Converting, February 26, 2025
Roberds Converting announces their latest investment for the future with the installation of a new Maxson 73" DFK Sheeter. This investment brings them to five total sheeters under one roof - an industry lead giving them a 25% increase in production capacity.
This new "King Marion" at Roberds joins three other Maxson machines that have the capabilities of a max sheet size 65 x 126. The 4 Maxson machines compliment a 73" Marquip — a workhorse to the overall success of the company. The current machine line-up positions Roberds to remain a leader in turn around time, speed to market, and fully guaranteed mill prime paperboard.
"We would like to applaud Maxson - we gave them a challenge with all of the "bells and whistles" we hoped for and they performed on all fronts to bring this project to where it is today," said Philip W Weinrich, VP of Sales and General Manager.
Roberds offers a central Midwest location with a dedicated sales & customer service team whose focus is to put customers first. Their leadership is focused on continuing to listen and learn - allowing them to enhance the customer experience with machinery and supply chain solutions that remain a step above their competition.
